LDI INTERIORS
UX BEST PRACTICES MEET DESIGN EXCELLENCE
Services:
User Experience Design
Information Architecture
Content Population
LDI Interiors pairs sustainable, high-performance upholstery with superb customization and customer service.
Their website therefore needed to marry technical value propositions with functionality that promotes boundless creativity. With a mix like this, it was our pleasure to be contracted by our friends at Tiny Bully to provide User Experience and Information Architecture guidance at the outset of this project. Equally exciting were our efforts populating the site’s content upon completion of the staging site, allowing us to bring Tiny Bully’s designs to life for their client.

THE PROCESS
USER EXPERIENCE &
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
Our primary focus was to find ways to showcase the beauty, durability, and functionality of LDI’s materials visually as much as possible. Therefore plenty of room was reserved across the site for full-bleed imagery, high-res material thumbnails, and logo corrals for LDI’s clients. These clients were also highlighted within Industry Landing Pages and detailed case studies to further illustrate the expertise and breadth of LDI’s services.
In addition to the more marketing-centric pages, a great deal of time was spent planning and wireframing a custom material design tool. This customizer allows users to browse through pre-made patterns, customize colors, and even apply their designs to 3D renderings of different furniture to fully unleash their creativity.
CONTENT POPULATION
& QA TESTING
With a staging site delivered by Tiny Bully, we returned to the project to assist with content population and QA testing. Utilizing web-based QA tools, our team was able to quickly work with Tiny Bully’s account coordinators to relay questions, bugs, and ideas for enhancement back and forth to the client.
