WHAT DO YOU GET…
…when you combine the adorable characters of a fairy tale with the violence of Mortal Kombat? We imagine something like Survival of the Cutest! A mobile game currently in development, SOTC is a platform brawler that lets the user take control of one of four woodland creatures to battle the rest for supremacy of the forest. While the game is still in early stages, we anticipate 5 maps with unique stage hazards, combo-based combat via tapping and swiping, and powerful super-moves for each character. Expecting to launch in early 2022!
PROCESS:
The game is being developed in Unity, and the animation is done in TVPaint. Though still in the prototype stage, the goal is to achieve a 2.5D background composed of 3D elements that blends seamlessly with the 2D characters.
